 Today, DAN, has explained us some things about CHICAGO which is the largest city in the U.S  with nearly 2.7 million residents.
He has told us the most important monuments, the Chigago Opera, the theater... And some "sportclubs" as the Chicago Bulls and The Chicago Bears :


  


The Chicago Bears Football Club are a professional American football team based in Chicago, Illinois. They are members of the North Division of the National Football Conference(NFC) in the NFL. 


The Chicago Bulls are an American professional basketball team based in Chicago, Illinois playing in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA. The team was founded in 1966. They play their home games at the United Center. The team is well known for having one of the greatest dynasties in NBA and sports history during the 1990s, winning six championships in eight years. The Chicago Bulls were led by,Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and coach Phil Jackson.

         

How does DAN travel around the world?

Today, in our speaking class, DAN has explained to us some interesting things about

how he travels:

1. First of all, he look at a map and decides the place where he wants to.

2. Then, he serches the cheaper flights in some FLYWEBS, such as Ryanair.es, Airberlin.com or Easyjet.com and the cheaper hotels (but he has friends all over the

world, so he stays with them).

3.Finally, he plans all the things that he wants to do: he checks out the region or countryside, he visits the most important monuments, he eats the local food, he

 meets new people...

Today, two of our classmates have explained us the advantages and the disadvantages of the most imortant SOCIAL NETWORKS:


Advantages: 


 -It's cheaper to use online social networking for both personal and business use because                       most of it is usually free.
  -You can known new people everyday and made a lot of new friends.
  -You can promote your site or business for free.
 -You can overcome your timidity.


Disadvantages:


-You are putting out information about your name, age, and many other types of information that you may not want to let others know, so you have to be careful.

Today, in our IT speaking class, we've learnt some of the most important virus and anti-virus and types of them.
There are the dangerous virus such as trojans, worms and the macro virus, which are created by profesional hackers or crackers.
There are also stupid virus and they are characterized by being annoying.
The best way to get rid of a virus is to have a good antivirus system,the most recommended are: McAffe, Norton and Panda.

INTERNET MUSIC

In my opinion, INTERNET MUSIC, is very useful to help people without spending money buying the new albums or CD's of their favourite music groups.
But, I think that this is damage for musicias, who have lost a lot of money, and if this doesn't end they will continue to lose milions of dollars.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES about BLUETOOTH

ADVANTAGES:


1. It's a totally wireless device.
2. It's really cheap.
3. It's an automatic connection.

DISADVANTAGES:

1. It isn't a very safe connection.

2. The connection is sometimes slow

WIKILEAKS NEWS

London (CNN) Though its founder is cooling his heels in a London jail and major credit-card firms have refused to process its donations, the website WikiLeaks continued to trickle out documents from its vast cache of sensitive U.S. diplomatic cables Wednesday.
WikiLeaks' supporters in the computer-hacking community turned their ire against organizations that had cut off the site. Among the targets were the website of Sweden's national prosecutor's office, which is seeking the extradition from Britain of WikiLeaks' creator and editor-in-chief, Julian Assange.
Assange is wanted for questioning in connection with a sex-crime allegation in Sweden and surrendered to British authorities Tuesday. He has not been charged, and says the allegations against him are part of a smear campaign.

GOOGLE is a company specializing in Web search and online advertising.

Google's mission, is to organize the world's information and make

 at Stanfor  University on 27 September 1998.

The company experienced explosive growth since its inception
 and began buying companies such as Writely, JotSpot and YouTube,
 among others.

It also began expanding its services outstripping even much larger
 companies that had led cómodomante years.

The name "Google" originated from "googol", a unit 
that represents a 1 followed by a thousand zeros.

He is currently the most used navigator in the world
 for its speed, simplicity and effectiveness in searches.

 BUT THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN CRITIZED:

The policies and practices for which Google has been criticized
 include its use of others' intellectual property, concerns that its 
compilation of data may violate people's privacy, censorship of 
search results, and the energy consumption of its servers.

 Much of the criticism of Google pertains to issues that haven't
 yet been addressed by cyber law.

WIKILEAKS

Julian Assange was born in Townsville, Queensland in 1971 is a journalist, programmer and Internet activist Australia, known for his role in the Wikileaks site (site reports). He studied physics and mathematics, was hacker and programmer before assuming his current position as director, adviser and editor in chief of WikiLeaks.
WIKILEAKS is an international organization which publishes submissions of otherwise unavailable documents from anynomus sources and leaks.Its website, launched in 2006, is run by The Sunshine Press.
I think this page is very useful, because it shows us the aberrations that people make. I also think that it is very reliable, because the information that people send to WikiLeaks, is proved by people if they are true or not.I think this page can make a difference in our world, because if people see the videos of  the aberrations in the Iraq War, they can be against this, and war could end.WikiLeaks can be good, it can stop the war and it can be bad also, because  it shows the American's strategy, and "rebels" will have enough excuses to attack them.

WIKIPEDIA is a multilingual free encyclopedia based on wiki technology. It is written  by volunteers, allowing most of the articles are edited by anyone with access through a web navigator.
A WIKI is a website whose pages can be edited by multiple volunteers through the web navigator.Users can create, edit or delete a shared text.

Today our new IT English teacher has explained us how TWITTER is. I think that is one of the most popular social networks in the world because you can make a lot of friends everyday without leaving the convenience of your home. It's very useful if you want to promove something and interesting because you can know the information of recent events. But it could be dangerous because if people use TWITTER for a lot of time they could became TWADDICT!!!
