GOODBYE MY FRIENDS

My last post

It is difficult to say goodbye to this marbelous course in which my friends and I have learnt a lot of new interesting things.
We haven't only learnt  how to work with computers, also English, how to become more independent in our works and to know each other much better.
I will like to stand out our teacher Ana Tarragona who has been very pacient with us.

 Today, DAN, has explained us some things about CHICAGO which is the largest city in the U.S  with nearly 2.7 million residents.
He has told us the most important monuments, the Chigago Opera, the theater... And some "sportclubs" as the Chicago Bulls and The Chicago Bears :


  


The Chicago Bears Football Club are a professional American football team based in Chicago, Illinois. They are members of the North Division of the National Football Conference(NFC) in the NFL. 


The Chicago Bulls are an American professional basketball team based in Chicago, Illinois playing in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA. The team was founded in 1966. They play their home games at the United Center. The team is well known for having one of the greatest dynasties in NBA and sports history during the 1990s, winning six championships in eight years. The Chicago Bulls were led by,Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and coach Phil Jackson.

         

How does DAN travel around the world?

Today, in our speaking class, DAN has explained to us some interesting things about

how he travels:

1. First of all, he look at a map and decides the place where he wants to.

2. Then, he serches the cheaper flights in some FLYWEBS, such as Ryanair.es, Airberlin.com or Easyjet.com and the cheaper hotels (but he has friends all over the

world, so he stays with them).

3.Finally, he plans all the things that he wants to do: he checks out the region or countryside, he visits the most important monuments, he eats the local food, he

 meets new people...

Today, two of our classmates have explained us the advantages and the disadvantages of the most imortant SOCIAL NETWORKS:


Advantages: 


 -It's cheaper to use online social networking for both personal and business use because                       most of it is usually free.
  -You can known new people everyday and made a lot of new friends.
  -You can promote your site or business for free.
 -You can overcome your timidity.


Disadvantages:


-You are putting out information about your name, age, and many other types of information that you may not want to let others know, so you have to be careful.

Today, in our IT speaking class, we've learnt some of the most important virus and anti-virus and types of them.
There are the dangerous virus such as trojans, worms and the macro virus, which are created by profesional hackers or crackers.
There are also stupid virus and they are characterized by being annoying.
The best way to get rid of a virus is to have a good antivirus system,the most recommended are: McAffe, Norton and Panda.

INTERNET MUSIC

In my opinion, INTERNET MUSIC, is very useful to help people without spending money buying the new albums or CD's of their favourite music groups.
But, I think that this is damage for musicias, who have lost a lot of money, and if this doesn't end they will continue to lose milions of dollars.
